Kirsten Dolan

Kirsten has worked in the parking and transportation industry for 14 years and was fiscally responsible for over 30 million dollars in revenue. Kirsten had complete profit and loss responsibility of over 250 locations spread throughout the Western United States in Southern California, Nevada and Arizona. There were three main types of Financial Management required: Lease Financials, Owned Financials and Managed Financials.

Kirsten was responsible for budgeting revenues and expenses annually and for reviewing current trends and providing variance reports to the home office. She was also responsible for making adjustments to expenses or marketing of revenues in under performing locations. In order to make these adjustments reviews had to be made in the following areas: rate analysis, complete expense review by line item, comparison to similar facilities, cash control loopholes and surprise audits of the locations.

She was also responsible for garage operations and management of over 250 locations spread throughout the Western United States in Southern California, Nevada and Arizona. In her most previous position, Kirsten was responsible for the profitability, marketing, and operational excellence in a three state region for the largest transportation management company in the world; encompassing 90,000 parking spaces and the oversight of over 850 employees. During her employment with Central Parking System, Kirsten was required to begin at the Project Management level to ensure a full understanding of garage operations. From there she held the positions of Area Manager, Operations Manager, District Manager, and General Manager prior to her promotion to Regional Manager. Having held the variety of posts within the Central Parking organization has given Kirsten a solid foundation to make recommendations and improvements to any garage operation. She has hands on management experience, which provides an unmatched background for consulting with various clients including municipalities, property management firms, hospitals and universities.

Kirsten has a BS in Marketing from Arizona State University and has completed the Leadership and Strategic Planning curriculum at the Owens School of Management at Vanderbilt University. She also completed the “Advanced Training” program sponsored by Central Parking, which is an equivalent to a certified parking manager designation. She was the top graduate in her class of 20 individuals.

She is a member of the Founding Committee of the Southwest Parking Association, California Public Parking Association, International Parking Association, American Small Business Association, National Association of Female Executives and Executive Women’s Golf Association.
